Blog Thirty-Seven After Salvation How Shall We Live? Part Seven

The culture today pushes the church to disregard Biblical laws of human conduct and accept every sexual sin named in the Bible as normal behavior. And the Bible was written before transgender surgeries were created. Does the Bible give clear guidance on these things? Absolutely!

The basic cause for all sexual sin is acting upon the "fruit of Satan’s lies", which makes "lust gone wrong." God made the human chemistry to draw man and wife together as one. But Satan tries to take everything beautiful that God makes and distort it; turn it upside down and destroy lives with it.

How will this generation know the Truth about these subjects without a teacher?

There is guidance in God’s Word for every need of mankind:

Run away from youthful lust, not to it!

2Ti 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Jesus plainly taught, that sin defiles man from within man’s own heart before it is acted upon:

Mar 7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

Mar 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

As we studied earlier in these lessons; Fornication is sexual intercourse between two unmarried people, and it is in the lineup of listed named sins; with adultery which is the same sexual act but with at least one being married to another person. But today’s culture says it is okay now. But just because everyone around you is doing something, that doesn’t make it right and doesn’t change God’s laws and covenants. No matter how many NEW TRANSLATIONS of the Bible man comes up with, God’s Word will never change.

Luk 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Back to Mark chapter 7:

Mar 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye,

blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

Mar 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,(Old Testament/ Ten Commandments) Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Well how do we keep from committing adultery in our mind, if we are dating a person we are falling in love with? We are a three part person, spirit, soul and body. While it is true; our soul (mind, will and emotions) and our body are of the flesh and don’t get saved. By our free will to obey and serve God, we choose not to act on those thoughts.

Young people need to stay busy looking for wholesome activities to do together that are fun like clean movies and doing sports activities.

Do something that is rewarding, like taking part in a ministry of feeding the poor or homeless. Visit an elderly person and ask to do something to help them. Sometimes a shut in person or people who live in a rest home would really enjoy seeing a smiling face that cared enough to come by and stay a few minutes. IF you can play an instrument or sing, it might just make their day. They just need friendship and a little attention. You might ask your pastor or Youth Pastor for ideas for projects you can be involved in. Be creative, clean the cars and help with the yard work.

To the single, I would like to say, "If you think you might marry this person; then help them respect their self by saying NO we need to abstain." And "How Godly do you want the Mother or Father of your children to be in this wicked world they are growing up in?" This reminds me of the song my husband has sung on Mother’s Day, "The One Who rocks the Cradle Rules the World."

Was Jesus for divorce? No. God’s plan has never changed; one man for one woman for life. Does He forgive divorce? Absolutely, but He expects people to marry for keeps the second time around, by putting Him first and each other second, and self-last. The Pharisees were trying to trick Jesus up by saying Moses gave freedom for divorce, what do you say? Jesus gave one reason for divorce; fornication/adultery:

Mat 19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

Mat 19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

Mat 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

Mat 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

All sexual wrongs start with lust:

Jas 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Jas 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Jas 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Jas 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

From the Old Testament:

Pro 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

Pro 6:24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.

Pro 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.

God’s laws to live by tell us to run from fornication (sex outside of Marriage). Run from out of controlled youthful lust because it can cause harmful 1) disease and 2) sexual addictions that will affect the spirit, soul and body of its victims, as well as destroy wholesome relationships.

Just as God has never created ANY disease or illness for humans, He did NOT create these Sexual Transmitted diseases as judgment and punishment. HE did created a perfect World, perfect soil for the plants and herbs for our food, perfect atmosphere of air to breath, and male and female to love one another and chemistry between them for them to become one and multiply and replenish the earth. God had his act together in all of its splendors. Sin, sickness and disease started with the fall of man.

How educated are our youth in the subject of venereal diseases? It is reporter that over half of VD diseases are never reported. Many times people can be carriers and not have symptoms, especially men. There are many Sexually Transmitted diseases and infections; Gonorrhea and Chlamydia are two of the most common. The STV Gonorrhea used to be easily treated by antibiotics; but now has become resistant strain, making it a supper bug and extreme concern around the globe. Look it up, I found the following report by Eric Hicks / Everyday Health Staff Writer:

FRIDAY, Dec. 14, 2012 — Rates of two sexually transmitted infections continue to rise in certain groups, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Chlamydia and gonorrhea rates rose 8 percent and 4 percent, respectively, from 2010 to 2011, according to the CDC’s 2011 Sexually Transmitted Diseases Surveillance report released Thursday.

1)A total of 1,412,791 cases of chlamydia were reported to the CDC in 2011, making it the most frequently reported bacterial sexually transmitted infection in the United States.

The overall total of chlamydia cases is also the largest number ever reported to the CDC for any condition, according to the report. It represents an 8 percent rate increase from 2010.

The disease is the most common among young people — an estimated 1 in 15 sexually active females ages 14 to 19 have chlamydia.

More chlamydia facts: May not have symptoms:

- The overall rate of chlamydia infection in the United States was more than two and a half times higher among women than men.

- Rates varied among different racial populations: The chlamydia rate in blacks was more than seven times the rates in whites.

The study authors speculate that the rise in chlamydia case reports could represent one, or a combination, of three things: a continued increase in screening for the infection, more sensitive chlamydia tests, and more complete national reporting.

In 2011, the CDC reported, there were 321,849 gonorrhea infections in the United States.

The South has the highest rate of this STD among the four regions of the country. While rates increased in 2011 for all four regions, the rate in the South was more than twice that of the West.

As with chlamydia, recent rates of gonorrhea are higher in women than in men. The rates are also higher in young women, ages 15 to 24.

2)Rates of gonorrhea are also different according to race — the rates in blacks was 17 times that in whites.

"At this point, it is too early to tell if this reflects a true trend, or if these are just minor fluctuations from year-to-year," says Nikki Mayes, a spokesperson for the CDC. "At any rate, we must remain vigilant about screening and treating this infection, especially in light of the continuing threat of emerging drug resistance."

Both gonorrhea and chlamydia are often asymptomatic in women, so the CDC stresses screening as an important strategy for identifying and treating the disease, especially for young women.

"The heavy burden of chlamydia and gonorrhea among young people is particularly concerning for young women, who face the most serious long-term health consequences of untreated infections, including infertility," says Mayes. "STDs are also a serious drain on the U.S. health care system, costing the nation about $17 billion in health care costs every year."

Approximately 19 million new STD infections occur every year in the United States. Young women 19 to 24 typically bear the brunt of the infections, and symptoms and health effects can range from burning, itching, and discomfort to infertility, cancer, and even death. Find out how to reduce your risk of contracting an STD, and get tips on how to protect yourself.

Mankind must to have guidelines and laws to teach and govern them for their own good.

Next week we will study the dangers and (sins) that start with out of control lust.

What about pornography and masturbation? Is there guidance for these in the Scriptures? Their harmful dangers and addictions can cause havoc destroying marriages and families, following people all of their lives, and as well as lead to rape and even murder unless they submit to Biblical Professional counseling, and to the prayer of deliverance by the power of Calvary through Jesus Christ. And after that , it takes a continued daily prayer and devotion to God and dependence on His strength and guidance for a wholesome ,healthy and happy life.
