Blog Twenty-Nine The events of Resurrection Morning Part Three
This story gets exciting, because it shows us what power is in us to win over evil on this earth. Jesus said, ‘The Father judges no man, neither did I come to judge man, but the Prince of this world." Remember all judgment was given to Jesus at Calvary, and power over Heaven and Earth. He used that Power on resurrection morning in heaven and Good won victory over Evil!
As we have said before, the book of Revelation is not in chronological order. Many times the authors skipped around with the stories of the present, future and past; as we do to make a point or tell the complete story. Is this familiar? "Well, first let me go back and tell you this."
In Revelation Chapter 12, John recorded this same event; "The War in Heaven" as the Holy Spirit showed it to him in a vision. The very fact that Rev 12:8 says that the dragon (Satan) and his angels (demonic spirits) would never be found in Heaven again, means that this war had to take place after Job’s experience.
The book of Job starts with a conversation between God and Satan about Job. Satan went up into the presence of God at different times. The statements: "Sin can’t stand in the presence of God," and "If God came into this church today, we would just kill over dead," can’t be right. Was Satan sin? Yes he was the author of it.
We ask sinners to come as they are to receive Christ. The only way a sinner can get saved is to be drawn by the Spirit of God into repentance. God looks at the sinful heart of mankind and draws us to him with his merciful Grace and bountiful Love.
It’s obvious by many scriptures that Satan went in and out of Heaven as he pleased after he chose to leave his body and became a spirit. When did Lucifer and the fallen angels actually leave their bodies to be spirits; like God is a Spirit? The time is not known, because time as we know it starts at Adam and Eve.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
We do know it took place before the creation of mankind. This was like a ‘massive suicide’, and was the first death. Satan has no new lies or tricks that he hasn’t used before to kill steal and destroy. This is the same lie he used at the massive suicide deaths of the Jim Jones occult group. "You can be like God and be a spirit."
God had created the angels with a body to house their spirits and souls; as man is created spirit and soul housed in a body. They chose to leave their own habitation, or bodies.
Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
When were some of these fallen angels chained? Jesus chained some up in Hell when He left it at Resurrection Morning. And God has given all Saints this power after the Day of Pentecost. Through powerful anointed prayers, through our Divine Partnership with God, Jesus repeats our prayers of TRUTH and commands His Angels to bind the fallen angels with chains and fetters of iron and cast them in the pit; setting the captive, all mankind whosoever, free from every sin, sickness and addiction.
These kinds of revivals have been seen in parts of world today, but more around the turn of the century in the United States. Of course there are miracles daily scattered that not many hear about. But the Last Day Revival that is a head of us will be beyond anything we have ever seen as the Kingdom of God really covers this earth. God is looking for dedicated Soldiers for His Last Day Army!
In order for us to realize the power and dominion God has given back to man through Calvary, we must first understand the victory Jesus won at Calvary, and understand the events around Calvary and the Resurrection. This is God’s purpose fulfilled through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
So when was the war in Heaven? When was Satan judged? When was Satan cast out no more to be found in Heaven? As the ’Son of man’ (because Deity cannot judge) Jesus judged Satan when He first descended into hell. The war was on when Jesus ascended up into Heaven after his resurrection, and Lucifer (Satan) fell like lightning.
I can think of two great movie scenes for a follow up of the great movie, The Passion of the Christ:
1) Jesus descending into Hell, the Spirit of God joining back to him, his preaching to all in Abraham’s Bosom and all in torment who were in rebellion, even Goliath and Judas, then seeing all of them,’ a number no man count’ with Jesus breaking out of Hell against Lucifer and the demonic forces of Hell.
2) The second movie scene would have to be The Great War in Heaven, when Jesus cleaned out Heaven; casting down Lucifer and his demons once and for all never to inter Heaven again, and never to accuse the brethren or mankind to God again.
People need to see the power and victory of Jesus Christ!
I shared with my grandson, Hunter when he was very young; that there will never be a laser light show as powerful as this lightning; when Jesus gave the orders to Michael and the ark angels, and they kicked the demonic angels out of Heaven, the Great Mountain of God, never to inter again!
Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
The only time the word ‘accuser’ is used in the Bible is in Revelation 12:10.
Strong’s Concordance= Accuser Greek #2725 From G #2596 and Greek #58 Complainant at law; spec. Satan:- accuser.
You can see in the above verse two things concerning the timing of this event: 1) Now is come salvation; which meant after resurrection, for only then was Salvation complete. 2) That Lucifer was in fact accusing brethren or mankind before God, so he and his fallen angels were cast down like lightening after the creation of man; and at the Salvation for man.
Jesus was won all power over Heaven and Earth at Calvary which manifested at His resurrection, and has given that power to His body on earth, the church to finish His work on earth and defeat evil making God’s enemies his foot stool. We will have lessons and Scriptures later in future blogs on our responsibility and job to complete to prepare the way of the second Coming of the Lord. God is waiting on us!
Could it be Satan’s deception to fool the church and paralyze the Works of God on Earth to prolong the Second Coming of Christ?
"Lord may your Spirit in us, teach us your Truth, so your Word lines up with your teachings from Genesis to Revelation. Prepare us for your Last Day Army; equip us with the armor of your TRUTH" Amen and Amen.
