Blog /Lesson Four How Do I know I'm Saved?

Will I feel different?

Some people feel different; and have said: “I feel so clean inside,”

And “I feel like a ton of weight has lifted off of me.” While others may say, they really don’t feel any different especially at first. This could be one reason; feelings are emotions, and our soul, or mind, will and emotions don’t get saved. Only our spirit gets saved; God is not the God of our flesh, he is the God of our spirit.

We must trust God and His Word. We get saved by faith, knowing that Jesus died and gave Himself freely for our sins. And knowing it is not His will that any be lost, it is by faith we receive forgiveness. Scripture says, when we repent, Jesus is faithful and just (Holy and Righteous) to forgive us:

1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Jesus is faithful ; He said, ” Ask, and it will be given.”

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Mat 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

God cannot fail us; He will give his Divine Assurance; which is His voice or unction coming up from our spirit to our mind, confirming our Salvation to us.

1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

The unction of Spirit of God with in us will reveal to our spirit that we are saved. We recall from previous lessons; Faith is hearing the voice of God. Every prayer and everything that God does on this earth is a combination of your faith and action, and God’s Divine Assurance, which makes up God’s amazing plan of Divine Partner.

What is gift; God himself joining to our spirit! As we study the Word of God, His Spirit will guide us in how to pray, and gives impressions to us for guidance. This fact alone is the reason thousands have been drawn to the God of Jesus Christ from other religions. God‘s main purpose for creating mankind was so He could live inside and commune with him.

Did you know that God calls us his friends? Jesus said, “I call you friends if you keep my commandment and Love one another.”

Joh 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Joh 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Joh 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

God does not want you or me to walk in uncertainty and wondering if we are saved or not. If He is truly joined to our spirit, He will be faithful to give His precious assurance that, “Yes you are saved by my Grace, and I remember the day my angels rejoiced over your redemption from sin, and acceptance of Me.”

Luk 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
