Blog/Lesson Fifteen Jesus and The last Day Part Eight

Jesus didn’t teach without a parable, partly because he was trying to help the people understand by metaphors and examples:

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. (Matthew 13:9-11).

Jesus went on to say, “To you who have some knowledge I will give more, but to them with no knowledge of the Word; will be given less.” I think this is because the Scriptures can only be discerned by the Holy Spirit and are impossible to understand by the natural mind. So the more knowledge (Understanding revealed by the Holy Spirit we have; the more He will show us.)

In learning Scripture, the Milk of the Word is taught first; the foundational doctrines first. And God’s Word is understood, Precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little.

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them

that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon

precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a

little: (Isaiah 28:9-10).

Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a

woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. All these

things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not

unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open

my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation

of the world. (Matthew 13: 33-35).

In teaching by parables, I believe that Jesus was also trying to keep from revealing to Satan some of the future prophesies of Scripture; lest he would try harder than ever to stop the church from binding evil (Satan and his fallen angels) and making them God’s footstool. This fire of God will be the Last day Revival, that will usher in the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Satan has accomplished putting off this great revival in some areas of the World, America for one, partly by seducing some theologians with his “fruit of lies,“ Which has caused confusion in our doctrine of Jesus Christ.

Just like Satan confused the Pharisees and Sadducees in Jesus time, so they would not accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah, I believe the missing link (study of the Law of Sin and Death) in Modern Theology has caused more confusion today in the doctrine of Christianity than about any other false teaching.

Men parish for the lack of Knowledge:

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:…(Hosea 4:6).

A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. (Proverbs 24:5)

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them

that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. ( Isaiah 28:9).

I believe that these lessons are some of that Milk of the Word; the basic foundations of the doctrine of Christ, that must be heard before the Holy Spirit can reveal Truth and the Knowledge of God and prepare us for His Last Day Army!

This “lack of Knowledge” has caused many teachers to blame God for all things, saying, “God is in Total Control of all events on Earth, good or evil,” which means that OUR GOD of Jesus Christ controls the actions of the Devil! How confusing! This is NOT the message of Christ! No wonder we have run people away from Christianity! This study will be in my upcoming book series (Book one is published, and can be purchased on Amazon, “The Truth About God/ He Doesn’t Do Evil that Good May Come, by Delores Porter” in which I attempt to answer some most haunting questions of every human being today.

Through the teachings of Jesus Christ, the answers to these questions are discovered in pure Scriptures: Was Jesus really God? Where is God in bad times? Who is in control if I have free will? Is every death really God’s will? If God knows all of my future, then my future is already decided; then what do I have to do with anything? Am I a puppet on a string? Then what good does prayer do if God does what and when He wants to whom He wills, anyway? If God is in Control of this earth, why is there so much violence, child rape, human sex-slave trafficking, Terrorist attacks ( ISSIS Beheadings) and natural disasters? These things cannot be for human good. Why would I want to dedicate my life to believe in a God like that?

The above questions are the same across the board when it comes to interviewing the atheist or agnostic. I believe this message in my blogs and books give hope to the hopeless! The Good news is: “God is NOT in total control on this earth, neither does He contribute to any of the bad things that come our way. God is Love and all Good gifts come from above.” Does God help us get through the bad times and out on the other side, teaching us and strengthening us through it all? Absolutely, but only as our free will to trust Him allows Him to bless us.

And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? And he said, Unto you it

is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that

seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand. Now the parable

is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the way side are they that hear; then

cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe

and be saved. But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart,

having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. No man, when

he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it

on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light. For nothing is secret, that

shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come

abroad. (Luke 8: 9-12, 5-17).

I am so grateful to live in a time that Nothing in God’s Word will be hidden, but revealed by the Holy Spirit for God’s Last Day Army to defeat the enemy, the demonic forces; making them God’s footstool, while setting people held captive with sin, sickness and the bondage of addictions totally free. Amen!

To be continued next Monday. If you learned something today from this lesson; be sure to share the Gospel today with your friends on Face Book and Twitter. When you share the Gospel, you are being a missionary to America. And may your voice be heard.
